Anna Elizabeth O'Donnell

The profile pic is of a young Anna Elizabeth O’Donnell, the oldest in John and Elizabeth (Hill)’s family. There were five girls and 6 sons. Anna never married. She became a teacher in the Ellsworth area. When Aunt Ann’s father, John O'Donnell, died, she brought her mother in to live with her. Ann loved birds and had an original edition of Audubon ‘s bird book. My father sent her a dead bird through the mail once hoping she could identify the kind but forgot to include a note…just the bird. She and her two sisters (Marion & Till) had a magical place called the fairy dell beside their home. As children we were fascinated by it. Ann lived to be 103
