Charles L Schwartz

Charles was born to Agnes Louise (Geis) & Alfonse John Schwartz. He had a brother, Norbert, and a sister, Alice (who married a Skelley ). His father died when he was 3. His mother, who was from Johnstown PA, stayed in KS to be close to her brothers. Grandad was a remarkable artist and attended the Art Academy in Philadelphia until he was called back to Salina to help in the family hardware company. I remember him in his workroom carving and painting. We were not allowed to step foot in there!
